Nothing serious. It’s a very simple medical procedure. But it’s proof positive that I am on the other side of life’s proverbial "hill."
This is something I agree with Katie Couric on. If you’re 50 or over you need to git’ this ‘r colonoscopy thing done. It affects a nearly 100% cure rate. Although the chances are great you have nothing wrong with you, you still need it done.
If you’re a middle-class American, or fortunate enough to be in the middle class in some other advanced country, you probably don’t feel very old. But in most of Africa you’re an old, old man or woman, much older than the median age of death.
You’re living on borrowed time. We all are. Get checked out today. Borrow some more time. Your family will thank you for it.
Besides, an occassional fast can be fun.
