We need more cops in the suites. We need more prosecutions, more convictions, and more people who were once masters of the universe doing what some call “black time,” not just “white time.” Real time. Lots of time.
Society is way behind in adapting its rules to this new liquid culture. It makes everything precarious for everyone.
By my calculations, oil took over political dominance from manufacturing in 1968. Tech took over from oil in 2008.That means we’re now playing the 1983 game.

Step back. Look for a big problem. Look for an open source project that’s addressing it. Then work on that.
All Americans of goodwill need to make a vow with Carter’s passing. It is upon us to advance the cause for which he gave nearly a century of life. There remain huge tasks before us, and while we’re all diminished in our grief, we need to pick up his flag and take it forward.
